What a charity bib with Marathon Kids involves
Marathon Kids motivates children to become more active, one mile and one achievable goal at a time. Its inclusive running and walking programs help young people develop healthy habits while building confidence, perseverance, and a lifelong appreciation for movement. Every runner helps another child discover that they are capable of going farther than they imagined.

Charity entry milestones
Your donors give straight to Marathon Kids through your GivenGain page. The BAA registration fee ($390 in January) is separate and paid by you.
What comes with the bib
- Guaranteed entry. No qualifying time and no lottery. Your place comes from Marathon Kids’s official allocation.
- Coaching from CharityTeams. Max McGillivray and Patrick McMahon coach every team: a 20-week training plan, fundraising guidance, and answers when you need them.
- Group runs in Boston. Saturday runs from December out of the Lululemon store, plus the Superhero 17 in February and the Hop 21 in March.
- A fundraising page that works. Your GivenGain page, milestone check-ins, and donor receipts handled for you.
- A team singlet and a team that knows the course.
